CATRIONA POLLARD
|
Catriona Pollard is a contemporary fibre artist transforming foraged plant materials and recycled metals into sculptural works exploring humanity’s connection with nature.
Using traditional weaving techniques, her intricate forms investigate transformation, interconnection, and the movement of energy. Shadows cast by her work evoke themes of light, dark, and harmony. |
She exhibits widely in solo, group and touring shows and has been a finalist and winner in major art prizes. Her woven sculptures are featured nationally in galleries, design spaces and private collections. A sought-after educator, she teaches basketry and creativity nationally and internationally.
Catriona's studio is located at Gunshot Alley in Georges Heights, not far from the Headland Artists Precinct. E [email protected] www.theartofweaving.com.au |
