Capturing memories of moments and locations, Daniela’s work is a very personal expression of her perception of an event. Her abstract expressionist style weaves nostalgic undertones into themes of ordinary life. The viewer is afforded an intimate glimpse into Daniela's life and surroundings.

'I am fascinated by points in time that may ordinarily go unnoticed. It's the emotion of a moment that interests me, not necessarily the experience as it happened. I love painting with acrylics because of the flexibility they give you to manoeuvre paint over a canvas’.
