Maria has been a printmaker and painter for 20 years with a background in Art Therapy. 

"I'm an abstract painter - getting an abstract painting to work can send you mad but when it does it's like no other feeling.  New ideas are formed during the making and the charged space between the painting and the viewer evokes a physical response.  

My paintings hold many stories and nuances in their layers and my hope is to give long lasting exploration and joy with a degree of sophistication. "
