I love colour and have drawn and painted since childhood. In recent years printmaking has become an important part of my practice and I have also become interested in abstraction.  I begin with a recognisable image (from an interior, garden or the landscape) and expand the image by pushing the boundaries of reality, form and colour... it is exciting to explore the possibilities.

Today's fast pace is at odds with my personal need for time to contemplate and savour an idea in a quiet space with music my only companion. George's Heights presents a stunning combination of sea, sky, fresh breezes and bushland, a marvellous, inspirational place to make art.
