Inspired by a love affair with nature, Tara Winona’s art invites connection - to the natural world and to one another. Her paintings often have deeply personal stories woven into them: expressions of life changing events, powerful emotions.​

'When I look into an animals' eyes, there is no judgement. Masks fall away. I am left with the essence of the self. I use this to create a safe space to feel, to be vulnerable, to be honest.'

Tara creates with a limited palette, embracing simplicity, leaving space for the imagination. She is represented by galleries in the UK and has exhibited in the UK, the Netherlands and Australia.
